This article aims to discuss the problem of collections policies
in museums - especially with regard to its absence - and point out some me
thodological approaches to their design and deployment. Thus, we performed
the analysis of the topic in the light of some theorists who treated the subject
as well as the examination of possible problems arising from the absence of a
collection policies
