In the wake of Open Access (free access to the results of publicly funded research), it goes hand in hand with the great ideal of transparency that is now invading all spheres of life in society. This book describes its origins, perspectives and objectives, and reveals the obstacles and obstacles due to private profit and academic conservatism. [fr] Une nouvelle manière de concevoir la recherche scientifique, la science ouverte, est née avec la révolution informatique. Dans la foulée de l’Open Access (accès libre aux résultats de la recherche financée par l’argent public), elle accompagne le grand idéal de transparence qui envahit aujourd’hui toutes les sphères de la vie en société. Ce livre en décrit les origines, les perspectives et les objectifs, et en dévoile les obstacles et les freins dus au profit privé et au conservatisme académique.
