Abstract :
[en] Does art have a gender? Do women artists have common perspectives? How does femininity and/or virility express themselves in the works? How can we shake stereotypes into this field, test them with our humour and criticism? This theme will provide an opportunity to break prejudices, starting with the work of artists who resist gender assignment.
[fr] L'art a-t-il un genre ? Les artistes-femmes ont-elles des perspectives communes ? Comment la féminité et/ou la virilité s'expriment-elles dans les oeuvres ? Comment déplacer dans ce domaine les stéréotypes, les faire vaciller, les mettre à l'épreuve de notre humour et de notre critique ? Ce thème donnera l'occasion de tordre le cou aux préjugés, au départ du travail d'artistes qui résistent à l'assignation à un genre.
