New data from the Aurignacian at Trou Al'Wesse (Belgium)

The Meuse River basin yielded an important record of Aurignacian occupations, but mostly from ancient excavations. Among these caves that have been excavated at the end of the XIXth century, Trou Al’Wesse has been the object of new works during the last years. New Aurignacian material has been discovered, in a better established context, and permit to get more precise ideas about the Aurignacian occupation(s) of this site and to put it in perspective with the Aurignacian record of North-West Europe.
