[en] A study was carried out at 3 pig farms in Hai Duong, Bac Ninh and Hung Yen provinces from
June 2006 to December 2007 to valuate the growth rate, carcass and meat quality of 3 formulae, viz. D × F1(Y × MC), L × F1(Y ×MC) and (PxD) × F1(Y × MC). Results showed that their growth rates were high(679.48; 673.6, and 656.74 g/day, respectively). The FCR of the three formulae was quite low (2.76 – 3.03). There was a significant difference in lean meat among three formulae (52.54, 50.54, and 53.68%, respectively. Meat quality of these three crossbreed formulae was satisfactory.
