Abstract :
[en] This article deals with the question of the delimitation of community forest in tropical rainforest as envisaged by the law 94/01 of Cameroon through a case study of the nothern periphery of the Dja Reserve. A methodology of the delimitation of community forest is proposed which confronts on the one hand the legal framework in which they have to be defined (Plan of Zoning and legislation) and on the other hand the effective utilisation of the forest by the ethnic group Badjoué. The results are presented with the aid of maps (spatial occupation by village and summary map). The analysis proceeds by superimposing successive levels of information. The evident inadequacy of two realities lends us to question the methodology which underlies the Zoning Plan. In the light of this information, severals scenarios for the community forest are then sketched out.
