Abstract :
[en] We aimed to compare the best fitting model in order to estimate genetic parameters for H. contortus resistance in Creole goats. It was used 1,143 eggs counts per gram of feces. Models were compared using Akaike Information, Schwarz Bayesian Information and logarithm of the maximum likelihood function criteria. The random regression model of orders 2 and 3 for genetic and permanent environment effects respectively, best fit and seemed to be appropriated to estimate genetic parameters.
