[en] The traditional mode of the university is to put strong boundaries between society and scientific dis- ciplines. As such they define for instance food production as something pure and “society free”. This linear model of the rela- tionship between science and society is also clear in the classroom, where instruction most often involves a linear teaching , Bringing stakeholders into the classroom , Training students in interactive process, building interdisciplinarity on by the field experience are some of the questions that we open to discuss in the workshop ? Based on a 10 years experiences on environmen- tal studies, the seed research team of ULg will facilitate this workshop.
