Abstract :
[en] The influence of the crisis on state interventionism in Belgian collective bargaining can be observed in various fields. Wage moderation lends itself particularly well to the demonstration, since a government intervention mechanism set up in 1996 was only activated from – and due to – the economic crisis and has been continuously in use between 2010 and 2016. The mesures of moderating wages are negociated by de representative organisations. The crosssectoral agreement concluded on 22 December 2008 only emerged after very difficult negotiations. It was not been possible to conclude any other agreement of this kind during the eight following years. Since 2010, interventions of public authority in the evolution of wages were subsidiary but reccurrent.
