Abstract :
[en] This presentation discusses the challenges met in measuring the flows of Southern European EU migrants who moved to North Western Europe during the financial and economic crisis that started in 2008. The presentation shows that EU wide and national databases have strenghts and weaknesses and that further improvement in statistical data collection process could help the understanding of complex migratory patterns.
