Abstract :
[en] Amongst the dating methods that can contribute to archaeology, it is the technique of stimulated luminescence applied to ceramic materials that is the focus of this paper. The principles and techniques of the method are first explained. In a second part, the reliability of luminescence dating applied to archaeology, and more specifically of building archaeology, is shown via the case study of the early medieval church of Notre-Dame-sous-Terre in the Mont-Saint-Michel, France.
