Abstract :
[en] Given the present state of our knowledge, the question about the links between Egyptian and Greek medicine is far from being resolved. Some convergences can in fact be detected, but when you study them further, you will find that they reveal a loan, or a simple coincidence, or else a false interpretation of the sources. At the end of the sixth century BC, Pharaonic medicine was outclassed and influenced little by little by Greek medicine. Lastly, the Coptic medical treatises, composed in Egyptian language, but written in Greek characters, combine some Greek and finally Arabic borrowings.
