[fr] L'objectif de cet article est de discuter des diagnostics des personnalités perverse et psychopathique. L’auteur tente de démontrer que le principe d'adaptation est une dimensions centrale et commune aux deux entités. Le pervers est hyper-adapté à son interlocuteur tout en présentant des moments paradoxaux d'inadaptation. Le psychopathe, avec sa faculté de chosifier l'alter ego et ses compétences émotionnelles, présente une adaptation plus solitaire. Cette contribution, inspirée des paradigmes éthologique et phénoménologique, offre une alternative à l'évaluation de la notion de « principe de plaisir » et à la « théorie de la manipulation » qui rencontrent certaines difficultés méthodologiques. Notre propos, qui cherche à nouer un dialogue avec les théories classiques de la psychanalyse, tente de cerner les différences essentielles entre ces deux modes d’être-au-monde. [en] Our contribution shows that it is possible to conduct a study about psychopathy and perverse personality from the principle of adaptation. We note a social ‘‘hyperadaptation’’ of the pervert. But we have to note that there are moments of mismatch and maladjustment. These ‘‘perverse moments’’ are very important to be observed and regarded as a pathognomonic symptomatology. The specificity of the perverse functioning should be viewed as a continuum of adaptation along which an individual may pass from ‘‘hyperadaptation’’ on the one hand, to moments of failures and mis-adapting on the other hand. Then, we propose a comparison between the binswangerian conception of mania and the psychopathic functioning. The maniac has a fundamental crisis of the ‘‘ego’’, which the psychopath does not have. A second finding of our investigations concerns emotions and the dimension of the adaptive psychopathic disorder. The last point we discuss is about the concepts of empathy and sympathy. Finally, a significant part of this paper is to propose a differentiation concerning adaptive behaviour: one is more social (the pervert); the other is more solitary (the psychopath).
