Abstract :
[en] Asteroid 471 Papagena was observed during the 1976 opposition with a photoelectric photometer attached to the 61-cm Bochum telescope at the European Southern Observatory. The light curve shows a very unusual triple maximum and minimum. The synodic period found is 7 hr 9 min 23 plus or minus 19 sec and the maximum amplitude of the light curve is 0.13 magnitude.
