[en] This presentation first gives an overview of the current legal standards for deprivation of nationality based on terrorism in Belgium and France. In a second part, it focuses on the question whether it may be justified to treat different categories of nationals differently in nationality law and more specifically when dealing with deprivation of nationality. An attempt is made to analyze the French and Belgian legal framework from the angle of the prohibition of discrimination.
