[en] We examine if any correlation is observed between the brightness of the O2 nightside airglow and the EUV solar irradiance using the full database of VIRTIS IR images. We conclude that, as was the case for the NO airglow observed during the Pioneer Venus mission, no response to solar activity is observed.
