Abstract :
[en] Between September 2013 and September 2014, the concept of “gross public debt” – as defined in the European System of national and regional Accounts (ESA) – gradually emerged as the reference methodology to assess Wallonia’s public debt. This paper recounts the successive steps of this transition, as well as their impact on the Walloon Region’s public debt (S.1312).
