[en] One hundred and thirteen species, 7 subspecies, 18 varieties and 1 forma of mosses in 67 genera and 27 families are reported for Gunung Chamah and surrounding areas. The 139 taxa documented represents 24.8% of the 560 taxa of mosses at species level and below reported for Peninsular Malaysia. Eleven taxa are recorded for the first time for Kelantan. Members of the Sematophyllaceae, represented by 31 taxa at species level and below, are predominant in the area, followed by members of the Calymperaceae with 20 taxa. The most specious genera are the Acroporium (Sematophyllaceae) and Syrrhopodon (Calymperaceae)with 12 and 8 taxa respectively. Distichophyllum malayense is collected for the second time in Peninsular Malaysia and outside its type locality, the Genting Highlands.
