[es] Durante el boom editorial que se produjo en la Argentina de las décadas de 1940 y 1950, se publicaron traducciones de autores como William Faulkner, Virginia Woolf, Samuel Beckett, Jean Genet o Henry James, entre otros. Algunas fueron primeras versiones al castellano de obras de dichos autores. El presente trabajo aborda la sinergia entre estas traducciones y la nueva poetica antirrealista que surgió en la narrativa argentina del período. Al ser Jorge Louis Borges el traductor paradigmático en el contexto de este proceso, se analizan las traducciones que realizó de Orlando de Virginia Woolf y Las palmeras salvajes de William Faulkner, mostrando sus estrategias extranjerizantes. [en] During the editorial boom in the Argentina of the 40s and the 50s, several translations of authors like William Faulkner, Virginia Woolf, Samuel Beckett, Jean Genet, and Henry James, among others, were published. Some of them were first versions in Spanish of those authors. This paper deals with the synergy between these translations and a new anti-realistic poetics of narrative texts that emerged in Argentine literature in that period. Being Jorge Luis Borges the paradigmatic translator in this process, his translations of Woolf's Orlando and Faulkner's The Wild Palms are analyzed showing their foreignizing translation strategies.
