Abstract :
[en] Transylvanian Giant Rabbit is a highly polyphyletic breed and has its origins in many distinct populations of rabbits: the common Romanian rabbit, the Grey Giant, the Giant Papillon and the Californian. It was created and consolidated by Petrescu-Mag et al (2009, 2014). This paper is a French version of the official standard for the judgement of the exhibition Transylvanian Giant Rabbit (Petrescu-Mag et al 2012). We respected the general rules presented by European Association of Poultry Pigeon and Rabbit Breeders (2010) and fit them to the specific characteristics of our breed.
