Abstract :
[en] The work of Tamara Van San can be constructed as a return to pre-conceptual times, when artists like Kandinsky believed it was possible to create 'objective correlatives' and, consequently, aesthetic communities. But it can also be linked to the tradition of the uncanny (das Unheimliche), as it alludes to an 'inner side' that usually remains out of sight.
