Abstract :
[en] Tetrodoxin (TTX), a heterocyclic toxin isolated for the first time from the puffer fish, is well known as a highly specific and sensitive Na-channel marker. Its use in electrophysiological studies has provided a lot of information about the action potential and, more specifically, about the activity of sodium channels.
