The biomarker has applications in the diagnosis of osteoarthritis and/or other ageing-related diseases, in determining the prognosis for an individual diagnosed with osteoarthritis and/or other ageing-related diseases, and in monitoring the efficacy of treatment for osteoarthritis and/or other ageing-related diseases.
