[en] The aim of this study is the construction of site index curves for even-aged forest stands, when only temporary sample plots are considered. Various growth curves have been tested, and the GAUSS (modified) function seems to be the most appropriate. Several methods have then been compared to construct a set of site index curves based on this model. [fr] L'objectif de l'étude est la mise au point d'une méthode de construction de faisceaux de courbes de hauteur dominante, dans le cas de peuplements forestiers dont seules des placettes temporaires ont été observées. L'étude de plusieurs modèles de croissance permettant de décrire l'évolution de la hauteur dominante d'un peuplement en fonction de l'âge a montré que le modèle de GAUSS modifié semble le plus adéquat. Ensuite, différentes techniques de construction de faisceaux de courbes basées sur ce modèle ont été comparées.
