Abstract :
[en] The paper describes the recent evolution of organic farming in Wallonia. The share of organic farmers in the total number of farms in Wallonia now reaches 5%, which is also the proportion of organic agricultural land in the total agricultural area. The financial support of public authorities, through direct payments or services like research, extension, advertisement, is essential for the maintenance or development of the Wallonian organic sector. This support is not granted for the future, but can be expected.
