[en] In the so-called “sanctuary of Xenokrateia” to the river-god Kephisos in Attica, the list of the gods sharing Kephisos’s altar includes a mysterious deity called Rhapso. She closes the list of divine recipients whose courotrophic profile is crystal-clear. This paper aims at identifying the divine power hidden behind this hapax legomenon.
