Abstract :
[en] The conversion of biomass into energy or products with higher added value is of increasing economic importance in order to substitute fossil resources or to develop new innovative industries.
In this respect, the residues of the agri-food industries appear as materials of choice in these conversion options. As lignocellulosic materials, with heterogeneous molecular compositions, it is sometimes complex to target the most efficient way of valorization.
Our research group has therefore published a study that demonstrates through 3 technical steps that can be carried out in the laboratory how it is possible to conclude for a given material the most appropriate conversion pathway.
The case that is proposed to you is published for a specific European region, but its transfer to other countries, such as China, could offer an original way of research, based on scientific arguments.
