[en] In this chapter, the efforts and results for Education for Sustainable Development (research, education, campus greening…) are reported for two Higher Education Institutions in Flanders (PXL and UHasselt). All these initiatives deal with the involvement and behaviour of future generations 'decision-makers': (the realisation of new start-ups and of spin offs are also reported). So they are an essential contribution in the quadruple helix interaction towards a sustainable paradigm shift into the Post Fossil-Carbon Society.
