[en] What is the state of translation in Argentina? What changes in translating and reading translations have brought about globalization, the vindication of the Rio de la Plata dialectal variety and the creation of independent publishing houses? This interview addresses these issues from a historical and translatological perspective.

If a language involves a community cosmovision, translation is a practice through which that cosmovision is confronted with others. In this sense, translation brings into play not only the attempt to assimilate a text from another language into one's own, but also a manifestation of the state in which the latter finds itself.
