Abstract :
[en] What happens when art takes place in a field of conflict? What is "engaged art"? What are the concrete effects of a positioning by image, by forms, by words, with regard to conflicts? To discuss this theme, we will return to the Didi-Huberman exhibition "Soulèvements" and the debates it has generated, particularly in the militant world. Does art have the vocation to carry and represent fights?
[fr] Que se passe-t-il quand l'art prend place en terre de conflits ? Qu'est-ce qu'un "art engagé" ? Quels sont les effets concrets d'un positionnement par l'image, par les formes, par les mots, à l'égard des conflits ? Pour discuter de ce thème, on repartira notamment de l'exposition Soulèvements de Didi-Huberman et des débats qu'elle a suscités, notamment dans le monde militant. L'art a-t-il pour vocation de porter et de représenter les luttes ?
