Towards institutional heteronomy? EU law and the structuring of national supervisory authorities’

I presented part of my doctoral research on the shrinking scope of the principle of national institutional autonomy, applied to the organisational autonomy of national competition authorities. I argued that, in light of the Court of Justice's case law, the institutional operations of national authorities have to abide by certain organisational principles, that can be imposed ever more directly on them.
