The Failure of ‘Market Failure’? Rethinking the Role of Law in Post-Crisis EU Governance

My presentation identified a market failure approach underlying EU internal market law, an approach also replicated in the realm of EU monetary integration. Having identified the limits of a market failure approach, it proposed a modest way forward, seeking at least to overcome or become aware of the biases that inevitably accompany this market failure approach.
