[en] In this presentation we will be looking at the impact that the use of ART (Artificial Reproductive Techniques) can have on the psyche of women who use the latter techniques because they consider themselves infertile either for biologogical and psychological reasons, or for social reasons especially due to their homosexual orientation. More specifically, we will be analysing the experience of women who successfully become mothers thanks to these new medical techniques and the intervention of third parties (donors and doctors) by looking both at the internal contradictions and psychological conflicts and at the psychological readjustments which seem to facilitate the development of bisexuality and of acceptance of the passivity/receptivity brought on by pregnancy.
