[en] In this presentation, I am providing a short review of the scientific information on the Io plasma torus that may be inferred from UV remote sensing. This includes past observations with the Hubble Space Telescope and the Cassini-UVIS spectrograph during the 2000-Jupiter flyby and future observations with the EXCEED (Sprint-A) telescope.
