[es] En este trabajo se analizan los textos sobre traducción escritos por Jorge Luis Borges, por una parte, y por José Bianco y Enrique Pezzoni, por la otra. Si Borges apunta a cuestiones generales sobre la traducción (como la influencia de la cultura receptora en las estrategias de traducción o la relación problemática entre el original y sus versiones), Bianco y Pezzoni apuntan a las normas de ejercicio concreto de la práctica (como literalidad versus libertad o creatividad, o la elección de la variante dialectal). En este sentido, puede afirmarse que Borges razona como teórico, y Bianco y Pezzoni como «praticiens».
[en] This chapter analyses the texts on translation written by Jorge Luis Borges, on the one hand, and by José Bianco and Enrique Pezzoni, on the other. If Borges deals with general questions about translation (like the influence of the recipient culture in the strategies of translation, or the problematic relationship between the original and its versions), Bianco and Pezzoni point out the rules for the concrete exercise of the practice (like literalness versus freedom or creativity, or the choice of the dialectal variety). In this sense, it can be stated that Borges reasons like a theoretician, whereas Bianco and Pezzoni like practitioners.
