[en] Actinic keratoses are common lesions caused by the cumulative action of the sun’s rays on the skin of predisposed individuals. They generally develop in seniors, but they may be earlier in those who have an occupational activity outside or who spend a lot of spare time under the sun. The depletion of the ozone layer might also be involved.
