The data collected is processed for the purpose of managing the repository in order to provide the following services: permanent conservation of the scientific production of members of the university community, and the promotion and dissemination of the results of research carried out within the institution. No commercial purpose, to any extent, is pursued.

- Decree of 3 May 2018 aimed at establishing a policy of Open Access to scientific publications, in particular Article 6 (obligation to have or to be attached to an institutional digital archive enabling researchers who depend on it to fulfil their obligation to deposit).
The data collected (with the exception of the email address, the ULiège identifier and the SCOPUS identifier) are accessible to the entire university community and, more generally, to everyone via the Internet. These data are accessible in a digital format allowing the export and reuse of metadata by third parties (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH)).
In view of the objective of long-term preservation of the University's scientific output, the data are kept indefinitely, as long as the data subject has not requested their removal.
